How the ring works

The ring

Every coin launched on Royalepad runs rounds of a battle royale between its own holders. Tokens play only inside the ring: enter locks them in the coin's escrow, a token account owned by the program. Tokens in your wallet do not play.

  1. Entry window (24 h). Join, top up or leave for free. No weight accrues yet.
  2. Rings. Then 24 rings close, one every 1 h. Ring k knocks out every stake below its threshold; the thresholds grow from 100,000 to 5,000,000 tokens (0.01 % to 0.5 % of the supply).
  3. The end. After the last ring the ones still standing win. If a ring would leave nobody, the ones standing on the ring before it win.

After entry closes, a live stake can only top up to max(3 x its stake at the close, the next ring's threshold): a whale cannot walk in at the last minute. You can always withdraw. During the game, withdrawing is leaving: it costs the penalty.

Rings close on chain lazily: the next instruction that touches the round replays every ring that has passed, with the same result as if each had closed on time. The site replays the same math read-only, so the counter is live without a transaction.

The pot

Claims

Winners split the SOL and the tokens of the pot pro rata to stake x time since the close of entry. Token winnings are added to the winner's escrowed stake. Claims are exact and on chain: no merkle tree, no attestor. Anyone can push a claim for anyone (the keeper does); it always pays the owner.

A claim window of 7 d opens when the round is settled. Unclaimed shares roll into the next pot. Escrowed tokens stay withdrawable forever.

The next round opens when the round is settled (anyone can settle it from the coin page). Auto-rejoin puts your escrowed stake back into the next ring by itself.

Numbers

The admin can change the numbers only for coins launched later, inside hard bounds and with a 24 h timelock that anyone can watch.
